スマホやパソコンの画面が私たちの生活を支配している昨今、耳を澄ませて周りの音に注意を向けることを忘れがち。スクリーンから目を上げて、耳をひらいてみるのはどうだろう？鳥のさえずりや風のざわめき、遠くで聞こえる人々の会話。窓を開けて、外の音を感じて。
So, in this era dominated by screens, from smartphones to computers, it's easy to forget to tune in and pay attention to the sounds around us. Here's a casual suggestion: how about taking a step back from those screens that seem to have us in a trance and opening up our ears?

日本人特有の感性を思い出してみよう。そう、虫の音。窓を開けて寝転がってみると、夏には蝉が、秋にはコオロギによる合奏が聞こえてくる。
冬は…どこか家から聞こえてくる、家族や友人との団欒。これだって立派な四季の“音”だ。
目を閉じ、耳を傾け、そっと心に寄り添う日常の提案。何か大事なのもが聞こえてこないか？
穏やかでやさしい静けさのなかで、自分たちだけのリズムを刻もう。
And try to remember the unique Japanese sensibility; the sound of insects. If you open the window and lie down, you will hear cicadas in summer and a concert by crickets in autumn. In winter... you can hear them from somewhere in the house, happy times with family and friends. This too is one of the "sounds" of the four seasons.
Close your eyes, listen carefully, and let the sounds of everyday life softly accompany your heart. Can't you hear something important?
