Erika Murphy, born in London and grown up in Hyogo in Japan, is a vocalist for the band 'Luby Sparks.' She often looks at back her experiences and writes lyrics. "I remember the music I listened to when I was a teenager. I was not good at expressing myself and didn't have lots experience with romance, so I would go home and just listened to the music and fantasised. lol I got confidence when I sang and danced to the music I adored. When I listen to that music now, I feel nostalgic and find the emotion I forgot." She listens to TV Girl , Elliott Smith and Alanis Morissette on weekends, and the things she's looking forward to in 2021 is "Luby Sparkes' concert"!!

The things you feel challenging: Not to make excuses with covid and also to be positive:)

The episode in this park: I had picnic last year on a beautiful sunny day. I got an apple pie, sat on the bench and checked our the dogs. lol

ロンドン生まれ、兵庫育ちのエリカ・マーフィー。東京でLuby Sparksというバンドのボーカルを務めている。歌詞の制作も手掛け、自分の過去の体験を振り返って書くことが多いそう。「昔ハマっていた音楽を聴いた時によく思い出します。10代の頃は恋愛が下手でコミニケーションをどうとったら良いかよくわからず、家に帰ってひたすら音楽を聴いて妄想していました。（笑）憧れのアーティストの気分になって、歌ったり踊ったりしていると少し自信がつく気がして……。少し大人になった今聞くと、こんな感情があったなって懐かしくなります。」そんな彼女が休日に聴く音楽はTV ガール、エリオット・スミス、アラニス・モリセット。そして2021年楽しみにしていることは、やっぱり「Luby Sparksでライブをすること」！

バンドのやりがい：海外でも聴いていくれている人がいること、ライブをした時のお客さんの反応

自分にとって今チャレンジングなこと：コロナをできない理由にしないこと。元々ネガティヴなところがあるんですけど、今年はポジティヴな思考になることが目標です。

好きな映画：『クロウ/飛翔伝説(1994)』、『シザーハンズ(1990)』

今日一緒に来た世田谷公園の思い出：去年、ここでピクニックをしたんです！天気が良い日ってやっぱり外に出たいじゃないですか？近くのアップルパイ屋さんでケーキを買ってベンチに座って食べながら犬の観察をしていました（笑）。
